Review by Paullen

Paullen As both a live attendee of this show and the Total Eclipse on Mary's Peak in 2017, I will confirm that Mike Band perfectly executed the eclipse jam during Are You a Hypnotist. What does this mean? I will be wondering that the rest of my life. This run was the first time I have seen Mike Band play and it was a lot of fun. The lighting/visuals and thematic elements were thoughtful, nuanced, and well refined. I particularly enjoyed Mike's bit of advice to ask Claim Hedges for help in understanding the state of affairs present at Saturday's, and possibly other shows. The love exhibited by this band, along side their humble dedication to theatrical craft was greatly appreciated by myself and the other attendees of these wonderful performances. On a star rating this show has its place in the highest halls of recorded memory.

Review by WeatherReport

WeatherReport I watched the free webcast, and ran the sound through a small PA system, which made it sound like I was in a small club. I would rate this show 4 stars, out of 5. It was a well played show, on a par with the show I saw in New Haven, CT about a week earlier. The highlight for me was the Peel > Trapezoidal Sunshine > Peel medley, which was fantastic. Some other highlights for me were the new songs Whirlwind, Victim, Steps, and I've also grown to like Marissa. They also played solid versions of Cruel World and Say Something, which I've seen played live before. I hope they do more webcasts of Mike's shows in the future. I really enjoyed seeing and hearing the final show of the tour
