F#*$ Your Face

Last night in Charlotte, Phish played the bustout to end all bustouts: "Fuck Your Face" was played for the first time in over 23 years (the last -- and only -- known performance was on 4/29/87 or 1,413 shows ago).  Interestingly, Phish also performed an a cappella version of "Proud Mary" during the "YEM" vocal jam.  "Mary" was the previous longest-gap record holder when it was played on 3/1/03 for the first time since the very first Phish show (12/2/83 or 1,364 shows). Needless to say, excitement is running high for the last two shows of the tour in Alpharetta. Can "Prep School Hippie" or "Punch Me in the Eye" be far behind?

MiguelSanchez i still think the bust out to end all bust outs is the complete gamehendge set. if it's going to happen, it'll be sometime in the summer of 2010!

Well, they would both be huge bustouts (and Gamehendge would certainly be a more significant bustout), but speaking purely from a standpoint of what's more improbable, it's hard to imagine many songs topping FYF.

tmwsiy I'm with Adam. Cheese between the toes! Lushington would rock my world! Never much a fan of Prep School Hippie. Punch Me in the Eye would be phenomenal. For some odd reason, I have a feeling we'll never see Gamehenge again in it's entirety. This has been quite a tour thus far. If you are not liking the Phish now, you'll likely never like them. Way to go guys, way to go.

Hendrix_Phishinfloyd More importantly, have they busted-out some intense, lengthy, type-II improv jamming? Hope so..

That kind of comment makes me laugh. The only rule (besides 'it begins') is expect the unexpected.
