jackl @harborseal You beat me to it re 12/29/94. In those days, we could only swing one of the four holiday shows in four different cities (kids, babysitters, etc. being a big constraint to "touring"). We lucked out with 12/31/93 (hey, missing the nbTn), but for those days, the monumental and unprecedented scope of the "aquarium stage set gag" far overshadowed the show itself. The next year, we randomly chose Providence 12/29/94 which was another "breakthrough" show for the 1.0 era with the "31 minute Bowie" that people buzzed about for years, that being one of the "longest" Type II jams to that date. As an aside, even as a "tape trader" and sometimes taper/patcher, it took me almost three years of looking to finally get a tape of the 12/29/ Providence show.
