Thanks for the excellent review. I agree that while Phish are an apolitical band, this moment in our country and world is not merely a political one. I have a feeling, given the lyrical nature of much of Big Boat and last night's choice of opener, that the band might be finding it harder to simply jump on trampolines and sing about antelopes while the world is going insane.

The reviewer has every right to speak to his/her political interpretations, and the reader has every right to disagree. Telling someone to shut up isn't what we're about.
