Great review! I feel you on all fronts. I agree completely that the Gorge is just one of those venues where you really do have to be there to get it. I appreciated the ways in which you tried to tie the music to the landscape...as soon as my wife and I get back to CO after our second 18-hr drive in 5 days I too will have a lot to say about that.
