MYSTERY JAM MONDAY PART 430

Welcome to the 430th edition of Phish.Net's Mystery Jam Monday, the third of August. Thanks to @justino for his help on one of the clips! The winner will receive an MP3 download code courtesy of our friends at LivePhish.com / Nugs.Net. To win, be the first person to identify the song and date of both mystery clips, which are connected by a theme. Each person gets one guess to start – if no one answers correctly in the first 24 hours, I'll post a hint. After the hint, everyone gets one more guess before Wednesday at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. Good luck!

Answer: Congrats to @ChemistryChris on his fifth MJM win - this time he was able to pick out the Spanish Jams with ease: the 7/8/98 "Bathtub Gin" and the 7/11/97 "Wolfman's Brother." How long until @CC joins the MJM Hall of Fame? MJM431 drops Monday...

PlayingMantis This one hurt because that Gin is a recently found favorite of mine. I was dozing off last night combing for the second clip and even skimmed that Wolfman's because of the Spain relation but missed that end segment...

Skimming rapidly though songs to find a jam is always "fun". Hadn't heard that Gin in ages. Really nice version. I like that Wolfman's jam as it seems like it could have been plopped into a 12/14/95 Set II jam fairly easily.
