MYSTERY JAM TUESDAY PART 399

Welcome to the 399th edition of Phish.Net's Mystery Jam Monday, the second of December. The winner will receive an MP3 download code courtesy of our friends at LivePhish.com / Nugs.Net. To win, be the first person to identify the songs and dates of both mystery clips. Each person gets one guess to start – if no one answers correctly in the first 24 hours, I'll post a hint. After the hint, everyone gets one more guess before Thursday at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. Good luck!

Answer: Congrats to @serpent_deflector on his third MJM win! This time the MJM at least made it through the night without being solved, but first thing Wednesday he found the 7/11/00 "Runaway Jim," and the 12/10/94 "Stash," both of which were played the previous two shows in which Phish played "Chalk Dust Torture Reprise" (before it reappeared this past fall tour). The MJM will be taking a few weeks off for the holidays, but we'll return in January for a special MJM extravaganza celebrating #400. Happy holidays, and enjoy MSG!

Nice work! Was hoping the 12/10 clip (anniversary at posting) might throw folks on a different path, but I guess there are only so many 12/10 shows anyway :)

I went for the eras I thought they sounded like first (which ended up being pretty close), but quickly thought about the CDT Reprise or After Midnight bustouts this Sunday. I just finished listening to Fall 94 in its entirety and so I had the debut date of the former fresh on my mind.

Edit: and there are also only so many shows that Chalk Dust Reprise was played! :)

Zands I ended up finding these at around 9 PM last night after I had put in a pure guess earlier in the day, the first clip reminded me of the Japan 2000 Jim and so I looked at Jims in 2000, saw that show had a CDT reprise and was like "oh that might be the theme!"
I shouldn't have put a pure guess, but I didn't know I would have a break from working on finals for college though. Guess that's a lesson to remember. Sorry for long ramble here.
Stellar job, serpent_deflector!

Thought it was 8/11/98 - disappointed when I couldn't confirm it.

A_Buddhist_Prodigy I was pretty sure that it was some sweet Phish jams. I sent that to @UCPete and he didn't respond. I'm 100% right! I want my downloads for completely sucking at this game! @UCPete . . . have some damn sympathy for us lowly MJM suckers! I'm the king of not coming close! The closest I've come was correctly guessing a year! That's a success, right?!?!?

A_Buddhist_Prodigy In all sincerity, I'm going back and listening to the 7/11/2000. SO FUN!!! Thanks, everyone!

I have confidence that you will get one of these some day - even @Bob_Loblaw won one!
