Matt_Leaf One of my favorite shows. Such a great Hood and there's something about that It's Ice that makes it stand out.

I miss that venue.

PhunkPhan The Capitol was classic place to see a show and sorely missed. It always seemed that every band loved the place. My intro to Phish started with them opening up for Blues Traveler at the Capitol.

wauch Ditto PhunkPhan memorable and youthful and a long long long long time ago! The Capitol was stank and this was pre-Phunk but the memories and the aromas inside and outside The Capitol are vivid. I also remember heading to the Tarry Lodge down the street for square-cut pizza as good as anywhere. Wow and thanks for this clip.

Mr_Miner I didn't realize that the Capitol is no longer there. I was lucky to see one show there.....Phish opening for Blues Traveler. Great show! John Popper joined Phish for "Don't get me wrong" and Trey joined BT during Gloria.

Here is the BT set that includes the Phish encore:

phulmer There is still hope! I live in the neighboring town to Port Chester and The Capitol is still around. Not really having bands come much more but the venue is still alive
