Uncle Pen and My Sweet One through Rocky Top featured Russell Flanagan on fiddle. Trey quoted Fixin' to Die in the ending chorus of Antelope. Trey flubbed the lyrics to Cavern. This show featured the first known Phish performance of Let's Go, which replaced HYHU. After the second Let's Go, Trey introduced the crew (with Page providing "Charge!" teases) and dedicated Mike's Song to "Mindy" and the "spirit of Ian in the back of the room." Pete Schall's name was spoken in the Mike's intro. Page teased Fishin' Hole (aka The Andy Griffith Show theme) during Hydrogen. Trey quoted and teased Groove is in the Heart in Weekapaug Groove. A recording of Antelope through Rocky Top also circulates as 9/17/90, but it is believed that 2/4/91 is the correct date for this portion of the setlist.

TheEmu This is the recording of most of set II of the 2/4/91 show, which circulates with the date of 9/17/90. The rest of the 2/4/91 show is currently unavailable on the spreadsheet.

The recording cuts in at the end of Antelope, with Trey quoting "Fixing to Die." Cavern has an amusing moment when Trey forgets the lyrics and totally "mmmmm mmmmms" his way through the brothel wife verse. I actually think the Fishin' Hole tease from Page at the start of I Am Hydrogen is kinda cool, as it fits right in before Trey starts the melody. A somewhat messy Hydrogen is followed by a short but good Weekapaug, and unfortunately, that may be the highlight of the set. Mike's Song is a feedback wank, and while I was excited to hear My Sweet One, Paul & Silas, La Grange and Rocky Top with the fiddle, the results were surprisingly average. (I hate Paul & Silas without the harmony at the end, it feels unfinished and makes me sad.) It's nice that Fishman likes the Cars and Kuroda's nickname is "Big Hands" but it's not enough to pop this up to three stars, IMO, so I'm just going to stick with two.
