Review by fhqwhgads

fhqwhgads 7/5/15 is a great send-off and victory lap for this configuration of "The Heart of Gold Band," seeing some very poignant moments and a fitting benediction from Mickey to launch the love of generations into the coming years. I have my own, personal, favorite Grateful Dead songs (skewed very much towards Garcia/Hunter tunes), but Phil in particular carries a large portion of the second set with Terrapin Station and Unbroken Chain. The magnitude of the emotional (catharsis? reflection? prayer?) meditation in this event is quite unparalleled, I think. I'm glad we have a built-to-last way to appreciate the most truly American song catalogue in history, and Jerry, wherever you are, we love you, and we miss you.
