Review by DemandOpener

DemandOpener This "show" must have been a fun one to be at; it certainly sounds like the wedding guests are having a blast during the ceremonial "first bounce". Blue Sky is a cool debut, and everything (minus Rocky Top, which just sounds *off*) is well played.

This is the definition of a novelty show, not really one that is required listening, but is definitely worth a look as a curiosity. Numerous interesting moments abound, including a couple rarely played tunes, Page and Trey criticizing the guests' dancing abilities, and the fact that somehow it was okay for Phish to play YEM at a WEDDING. Toss in a humorous Icculus and a surprisingly competent Antelope (given that the drummer was someone other than Fish)...

3 stars.
