Review by dpwilljr

dpwilljr This was my least favorite of the three shows I attended in summer 2011. This is not to say that it was a bad show. My opinion is obviously colored by my mood during the show and the presence of over-bearing security.
The versions in the first set were extremely well played with enthusiasm.
We all have our own way of enjoying a show. I like to move around. Staying in one place for too long is boring for me. I like to enjoy the scene and the music from different vantage points.
Security made this difficult.
There were strong points in set 2.....
As a matter of fact the Carini>C&P>Twist>Piper>Mike's was VERY intense.
Strong ending with Character Zero>Quinn.
I will never get tired of Julius.

Cool venue otherwise....it was nice to get a wide selection of beers they had at the 'convenience store' inside the show.

Overall a beautiful southern California night.
