So - I'm here in Boston, Mass - it's 3:30 am. Life is, you could say,
good. And I still really can't get over the fact that this crazy
circus-of-a-tour is all going to be no more as of tomorrow. Well, for a
couple of weeks, that is. ;-)

Any way, it's last, so 'tuh hit raht dahn tewit...'

I pulled in to New Haven really early Tuesday, and ended up bumming around
for most of it and headed over to the train station to wait for Chico's
train which never came. But the venue was close and I actually ended up
walking there, leaving my car parked at Union Staion, which ended up
working fine (15 minute parking - my ass!)

Tuesday November 24
New Haven Coliseum - New Haven CT

I:
DwD
Moma Dance
Sinseng
Stash!!
Brian & Robert
Limb by Limb
Sample!!!!!!!!
Tela
Chalkdust

II:
Ghost!!!->
Halley's!!!->
Tweezer!!!
Possum
Velvet Set
Zero

E:
Suzie->Tweeprise w/ the Dude of Life

And, yeah, that second set really opened like that. Somewhere in the
opening three songs - which by the way, you're just gonna have to hear,
duh - Trey teased the CCR tune from 11/13/97 Vega$, 'Born on the Bayu' I
believe is the title. You may be looking at my setlist thinking "what the
hell is up with Sample??!?" because that's what *I'd* be thinking. Simply
put, this was the end-all, be-all version of Sample tonight. Trey
_actually_ took a bone fide solo - I kid you not. I was nearly in tears,
it was that good.

The Dude of Life encore was...interesting...to say the least... Standing
up there during Tweeprise, he reminded me of that guy in the Mighty Mighty
Bosstones who just dances.
